Day 1: Perth to Collie

Kick off your adventure with a convenient 10 AM pickup. After a warm introduction from your friendly guide and a chance to meet your fellow travellers, we’ll stock up on supplies before hitting the road. Our first stop is a delightful late lunch and refreshing swim at the stunning Black Diamond Lake. Next, we’ll take a scenic drive to a viewpoint overlooking the vibrant murals on Wellington Dam. As the day wraps up, enjoy a delicious BBQ at a charming private country estate.

Day 2: Collie to Margaret River

We’re heading to the coast today! Our first stop is the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. For the adventurous, there’s an opportunity to leap off the end and snorkel beneath this landmark. In the afternoon, we’ll hike 8 km around Cape Naturaliste, starting from Shelley Cove and making our way to Sugarloaf Rock, taking in breathtaking views along the way. Tonight, we’ll settle in at a private property close to the town of Margaret River.

Day 3: Exploring the Margaret River Region

Take a well-deserved break as we indulge in the culinary delights of the Margaret River region. With an array of wine, chocolate, cheese, gin, nougat, and beer tastings, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Once our appetites are appeased, we’ll visit the picturesque Injinup Spa Pools and Canal Rocks for a refreshing dip, where the Indian Ocean creates a natural spa experience.

Day 4: Margaret River to Hamelin Bay

After a quick stop in the lively town of Margaret River for supplies and a bit of retail therapy, we’ll continue south through the majestic Karri trees of Boranup Forest to Hamelin Bay. Here, you can spot graceful stingrays patrolling the shore in search of snacks. In the afternoon, choose from various activities: explore the nearby forest, surf at Boranup Beach, discover secret rock pools, or snorkel with the rays.

Day 5: Hamelin Bay to Pemberton

Start your day with an adrenaline rush by swinging into the Alexandra River. After a scenic drive through ancient southern forests, we’ll arrive in the historic timber town of Pemberton. Spend the afternoon leisurely strolling around the lake, or for a thrill, rent mountain bikes and tackle the purpose-built trails. If hiking is more your style, we can ascend Mt. Frankland for panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Day 6: Pemberton to Denmark

A short drive brings us to the stunning Elephant Rocks. Enjoy a walk among these granite giants and take a dip or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters at Greens Pool. After lunch, you can opt for a short hike along a section of the Bibbulmun Track or spend the afternoon refining your surfing skills at Ocean Beach. We’ll end the day by witnessing a spectacular sunset from the cliffs overlooking West Cape Howe.

Day 7: Denmark to Albany

After breakfast, we’ll venture into Torndirrup National Park. Brace yourself as you stand above the Southern Ocean at ‘The Gap,’ where massive waves crash against the cliffs below from a breathtaking viewing platform. Spend the rest of the day hiking one of Australia’s premier day hikes, the ‘Bald Head Trail,’ which offers stunning ocean views on both sides.

Day 8: Albany to Bremer Bay

Rise early for a sunrise hike up one of WA’s highest peaks. Often, we’re treated to a stunning temperature inversion, allowing us to watch the sun rise above the clouds from either Bluff Knoll or Mount Toolbrunup in the Stirling Range. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll make our way to the beautiful coastal town of Bremer Bay for an afternoon of beach hopping and surfing.

Day 9: Bremer Bay to Esperance

Arriving in Esperance, we’ll spend the day exploring some of Australia’s best beaches—swimming, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and rock jumping. The stunning white sands and turquoise waters will make every photo look like a postcard! We’ll settle in for two nights at a private property near the town and beaches.

Day 10: Esperance to Cape Le Grand

With our camp set up for another night, we’ll embark on a thrilling 4WD adventure to Cape Le Grand. We’ll take a heart-pounding ride up Wylie Rock for 360-degree views stretching from Esperance Bay to the national park. Instead of the highway, we’ll drive 20 km along the beach to access the park, where we’ll embark on a scenic 7.2 km hike from Hellfire Bay to Lucky Bay, known for its friendly kangaroos. After our hike, unwind with a swim before we tackle the short but steep climb up Frenchman Peak for breathtaking vistas.

Day 11: Esperance to Wave Rock

Start the day with a morning surf at one of Esperance’s beautiful beaches or take a leisurely stroll along the coastal path. After saying goodbye to our camping host and browsing local shops, we’ll leave the ocean behind and head through the wheatbelt towards Wave Rock.

Day 12: Wave Rock to Perth

On our final day, we’ll explore Wave Rock, walking along the path that leads to the top of this ancient formation sculpted by the desert winds. Afterwards, cool off in the famous salt baths at Wave Rock Resort, where the salt content is so high you can nearly walk on water! As we wrap up this unforgettable journey, we aim to return you to our original meeting point by 4 PM, leaving you with cherished memories and a desire to join us again!
